Layouts
The standard layouts available in Engage CMS are:
- Landscape 16:9
- Landscape 16:9 + Ticker
- Portrait 9:16
- Portrait 9:16 + Ticker
16:9 Aspect Ratio
The 16:9 aspect ratio is the standard widescreen format used by most modern displays, including televisions and computer monitors.
The ratio means the display is 16 units wide for every 9 units of height.
This format is commonly used for video content and is the standard aspect ratio for most HD media.
Ticker
A ticker is a scrolling text area that appears at the top or bottom of the screen.
Tickers are commonly used to display continuously updated information, such as:
- News headlines
- Stock prices
- Announcements
- Event information
- Internal communications
What Does "16:9 + Ticker" Mean?
A layout such as 16:9 + Ticker combines a standard widescreen content area with an additional region dedicated to scrolling text.
The ticker is typically displayed at the bottom of the screen but can be positioned differently depending on the layout configuration.
